Best mascara that lasts

So I'm off for a work trip to USA in a couple of months and wanting to do a few things in advance to make myself look more polished and professional (spent the last 4 years working from home in joggers/shorts and tshirt, no makeup). I need to keep my packing minimal and will have very little time when there so need to be able to go from meetings to dinner with as little time as possible

So I plan to get my hair cut and coloured in the week before I go, wax my legs and get my eyebrows done a couple of days before and choose dresses that don't crease.

I have ok skin so not too bothered about foundation/contouring and all that but I would like a really good, waterproof, smudge proof black mascara that makes my lashes look longer, fuller and more curled.

Any suggestions?

I use maybelline waterproof skyhigh and love it. It's not claggy, and genuinely lasts through cycling in rainstorms and swimming! It's also a really good price

Trish McEvoy!! Miracle stuff - it’s the blackest of black, never smudges no matter how much you rub your eyes and is 100% waterproof. I only wish I’d found it sooner

Wow I don't even know why they make mascaras they just don't work for me at all.

I find mac waterproof is the only one that doesn't run for me

But I see manyline recommended a lot so appreciate it's a me problem rather than a product issue

@Crowgirl I had this problem too until I started using skyhigh. I think I have greasy skin/runny eyes combo, so nothing stayed put!

Another vote for Maybelline. I've tried the Charlotte Tilbury one recently, it's nowhere near as good.

Thanks ladies, think I'll give the maybelline a try seeing as it has more than one recommendation and is the cheapest to start with. If it doesn't work for me I'll work up the process levels 😀
