Hairbrushes

Not a thread title to get excited about but hoping someone can help...

I need to buy a new paddle brush (for general daily brushing) and also a large round brush (for blow drying). I have longish hair just past my shoulders and it's quite fine but there's plenty of it. It's in good condition but prone to frizz if I'm not careful.

My last paddle brush was GHD one which came in a set with straighteners, bought as a gift by my sisters a couple of years ago. I know it was quite an expensive set, but the brush has basically fallen apart even with light to normal use (I have a tangle teezer I use on my wet or tangled hair). I don't have a large round brush but hairdresser mentioned it would make drying my hair easier / better so thought I'd give it a bash.

Looking for recommendations for decent quality options please!

I use the Philip Kingsley paddle brush - and it has vents in in case you want to blowdry at the same time. My hair is also very long and fine

I have lots of frizzy/curly fine hair. I use the Cantu paddle brush.

I can't help with round brushes for drying - I have to use a Revlon blow-dry brush because coordinating both hands is beyond me.

My denman paddle brush has lasted years.

Denman is the only brand I get on with. I have long and thick wavy hair. I buy a new one every decade or so, never more frequently.

Thanks very much all that's helped me narrow it down. And just reminded me that I had a 'mini' Denman brush as a child a looong time ago!

Kent brushes are good quality.
TKMaxx always have a good selection of brushes.

I like wet&dry brushes the best, I have very thick hair.

The best round brush I’ve ever used is a Tangle Teaser one.

Demand are the only ones I use. I have a paddle brush that has lasted years and a few round ones too. They are worth buying because they last forever.
