Needing a bit of help

I’m going to a wedding this month (nephews). I haven’t worn a dress in years however I’ve got over the first hurdle and found a dress I like in Navy. My question or guidance needed is what tights to wear with it. My legs are too pale and I mean milk bottle white , to not wear anything. I’m a size 18 so need something that would go up to that size. What colour would look best…..navy or a natural colour ad if a natural can you give me some actual recommendations please. It’ll be a navy shoe I’ll be wearing if that matters.

If it's a closed in shoe, then nude low denier tights, I got some from Snag but you can get them anywhere, M&S or supermarket even.
Or you could just use some fake tan - I use Dove fair to medium, it's subtle but takes away the milk bottle effect.this one
If you will be wearing sandals then tights aren't really an option.

@DelphiniumBlue Thank you for your reply. It is a full shoe and I’ll try the fake tan. Not been very successful with them in the past but have to admit it’s quite some time ago. But I’ll have a look at the nude shade.

It’s easy, it’s more like tinted moisturiser, so if you mess up it’s not too obvious. Exfoliate first, and avoid backs of the ankle and kneecaps . You build up colour over a few applications.

Sheer nude tights if you don’t want to fake tan.
Drunk elephant and Estée Lauder both make a shimmering gel/oil that’s meant to give you a bit of colour. They’re both expensive though.

@DelphiniumBlue well I've bought some, going to give it a go. Thank you for the advice. I mainly wear trousers so if it doesntcwork it's no big deal .
