Bruising after filler

I had maisonette filler on Thursday, only 0.5ml each side. One side seemed to hurt more and I started to bruise the following morning. 3 days later and it is a dark bruise which is really noticeable and looks like pen on my face 🙈 anyone else experienced this. I have a work event on Saturday and really hoping it's gone or at least faded by then

No idea sorry, but watching this thread as I'm considering the same.

Did it hurt getting it done?

naddy20 · 02/04/2024 17:05

Yes this happened to me, it lasted about a week and then went away x

It didn't hurt but was a bit uncomfortable. It was a strange feeling, like you could feel it but it didn't really hurt. The results are worth it though apart from this bruising

Yes unfortunately I've had bruising last for two weeks. However I could cover it after a few days so I'm sure you'll be fine.

MurderousCheekbones · 02/04/2024 18:07

How much did it cost? It's about £250 here 😬

It cost £195 but that was a special offer, I think usually it is around £250

Yes I have had this but I take aspirin so it is to be expected. I love the maisonette 😂 I know it's a typo ! Made me chuckle!

I had mine done too last week and always use arnica cream after to bring out bruising , concealer and and a full coverage foundation for a few days is my only advice

I always bruise after filler and Botox. I read that fresh pineapple helps but I always forget to use that. Arnica IMO is a waste of time as it's so diluted (homeopathic) that it's effect is negligible.
The bruising will go in time so you'll just need to cover it with make up. Dermablend camouflage make up is great at covering bruises.
