Not a mum jumper

I've lost some weight recently and I'm trying to overhaul my wardrobe but I'm struggling with jumpers.

I keep picking ones that my mum would wear, and although she's lovely I don't want to dress like her.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good brand for jumpers that are a bit cool or quirky, or just a bit more unusual than an M&S type one?

I like Oliver Bones...but you don't say how old you are. I'm mid-40s so its totally conceivable that your mum is my age.

I'm mid 40s top, mum is 70. I should have mentioned that!

Well … I’m very partial to:

La Fetiche knitwear.

But I’m over 60 - so you’d probably better avoid!

MN introduced me to Navy Grey, which is pricey but beautiful.

And I just bought this but in grey in the sale from Jumper1234, which I absolutely love. They have some niche designs. Again, expensive, but the sale was really good.

Technically, in order to be helpful we need to know what jumpers you've been choosing that your mum would wear. Got any links?

I've been really impressed with everything I've bought from Raey (Matches own brand). There's an outlet sale on currently with an extra 20% off which makes it upper high street prices - I can't afford full price!

I've bought some trousers, a shirt and a jumper from there over the last few months and they've all been great quality

If OP's mum is 70 she's very much Bowie era 😆
