How much do you pay for an eyebrow shape?

Specifically, only an eyebrow shape/wax (no tints etc.). If you could let me know if it's outside/inside London that would be great.

My salon has had to put their prices up again so just want to see what others pay to see if it's reasonable as it's quite a lot!

£10. Not in London, in a city though.

Thelondonone · 01/04/2024 08:37

£5 in an area of London where everyone does threading.

Newgirls · 01/04/2024 08:40

It got to 22 at the brow bar near me. I stopped going and every time I walk past it’s empty

MrsBish · 01/04/2024 08:40

I was paying £12 a couple of years ago at the local salon. Depending on the therapist, they would sometimes spend less than 5 minutes on it. I have wild eyebrows that need to be tamed. I now go to someone who does lash extensions in her own home. A brow shape with her is much more thorough and costs £10.
I just checked the salon and they're now charging £16. Obviously the salon has more overheads etc.

Where I am in Suffolk there’s a place in town who does threading for a £5

there’s also two local home salons who do it for £10 - or £15 for a tint ss well

my hairdressers have just upped the price to £27!!!! And seem surprised that everyone has said no thanks!

MrsBish · 01/04/2024 08:42

Mine is in Surrey

LiterallyOnFire · 01/04/2024 08:43

Go to the benefit brow bar. Standard training, standard price. They're good.

Anameisaname · 01/04/2024 08:43

£6 in London ! Cash only and she does it in under 5 min

SnapdragonToadflax · 01/04/2024 08:43

I get my eyebrows and upper lip threaded and it's £17. Mid-Essex commuter town.

Ironfloor269 · 01/04/2024 08:46

The Primark store in our town has a brow bar and it costs £7.

GreenSmithing · 01/04/2024 08:48

Eyebrow wax only £5 - Midlands. I think she undercharges, though. She hasn't put prices up for years and I'd happily pay more.

MrsBlondie · 01/04/2024 08:48

£14 nowhere near Lobdon and a small town. Only place that does it so no choice

Boopear · 01/04/2024 08:50

MyGooseisTotallyLoose · 01/04/2024 08:54

£12 for wax. What are you thinking of charging @BoxFoxSocks ?

breakfastdinnerandtea · 01/04/2024 08:54

£11 in NW England for just a shape.

00deed1988 · 01/04/2024 08:54

Zone 6 of London, £5 for wax or threading

poshfrock · 01/04/2024 08:55

£6.50 for wax and pluck. Small village in North Lincolnshire. We have about 6 beauty salons though ( all busy) so it's a competitive market.

ButterflyKu · 01/04/2024 08:55

£9 for waxing or threading and I’m in SW London. You won’t catch me paying more than a tenner

BoxFoxSocks · 01/04/2024 09:43

Thanks everyone, the place I go to has put it up to £20. Outside London, not in a city. I think I'm going to have to look elsewhere. (They were charging £9 when I first started visiting them).

£6 for threading. Although I'd rather it was waxed. I hate threading. Occasionally go to benefit to have the shape improved.

Toddlerteaplease · 01/04/2024 10:01

But not now they charge £20.

Clearinguptheclutter · 01/04/2024 10:01

£10.
suburbs of a major northern city
