Please talk me through how you went grey and what prorducts you used !

I have pale copper hair and ive seen grey peeking thro the roots - i normally dye it every 4 weeks but have left it for 8 and can see a section of. White then a sort of warm mouse grey .
teh hair dresser said she wont strip the sye out as it has red tones in and ut will harm my hair plus it will be a horrible yellow if ahw lifts it - as evidenced by a custard coloured strand test!
what do i do ! I know i will give in if i have a line if grey and a line of cooper ! Maybe product to hide it? I did suggest demis but she said no - that is adding more copper .

I have artificially copper hair. My own hair is probably grey/white. I use Schwarzkopf chroma ID in between salon visits. It’s a toner that washes out completely after about a week. It does turn some of my roots bright ginger (mainly hairline where the hair is white) but that fades after a couple of days.

Thank you ! Was hoping something like this may exist when i was a teen there uses to be wash in wash out ones in boots ! This seems to be a similar but better product!

I was going to suggest L’Oreal Magic Retouch. I use on my roots in between hair appointments. It lasts until you wash it out. Would recommend!

Take a decent high dose multi b vitamin and the colour will come back. I’ve seen this work on people who have been grey for years.

My hair is dyed copper ! 😄it is grey now habing been strawberry blond all my life and white as a child . Wish it was naturally copper - id take those vits for sure !

Yes- definitely washes out in 5/6 washes. It’s a toner conditioner unlike the usual dyes. It’s about £20 a tub but only use a tiny amount. Way more cost effective than the root touch up

I’ve used this, https://amzn.eu/d/53Tz5ZN and the life extension one but they’ve changed the ingredients of that recently. Not looked into whether it’s better or worse.

B vit only works if you are deficient.
OP I've just accepted the grey and gone with it. Saved me a lot of faff and money! I get nice compliments on the grey.

I definitely want the grey - i just want a method to hide the transition as i am dyed copper and the line between the two is sometnkng i want to
