Hi

I'm in my 50s and thought I’d up my skincare game.

Its not too bad , but feel as I get older I should buy better products . Tend to go for cheaper ranges in Boots .

Is Elemis a good bet and what would people recommend ?

I think I need something to brighten up my skin and it’s also dry .

I’ve seen the bliss capsules but these just seen an expensive way of buying facial oil ?

Any recommendations ?

Also should I double cleanse and what is it ?

oh and I am interested in Elemis as it’s cruelty free .

Sadly, Elemis lost their cruelty free status a while back as they sell in China. It's a real shame and a backwards move I think. If you'd still want to buy it, qvc is a good place.

Oh I didn’t know that. I won’t buy from them. Anyone know of good quality skincare that is cruelty free ?

I did not realise Elemis is not cruelty free but I love Elemis marine cream and qvc does some really good deals on gift sets.

I’m going to have to look at other alternative . Anyone have suggestions ?

I’ve tried Evolve, Aesop and Upcircle. All are nice.

Origins and Caudalie and Nuxe also don’t test on animals.

Sadly it’s probably a case of googling which brands test and which don’t.

i use cruelty free but cheap stuff . That’s why I was looking at Elemis as thought it was cruelty free and seems to have good reviews.

i was interested in the resurfacing items .
