Can anyone recommend a lightweight matte foundation?

Not sure if I'm looking for the impossible here - a lightweight matte foundation in a cool pink undertone, that's actually MATTE matte? With the glowy skin trend, it seems hard to find a properly matte foundation that isn't way too heavy and/or an old-fashioned formulation. Lots of them are called "matte" but then when you look at the details they're "satin matte", "luminous matte", "radiant matte", or in the reviews people say "It's called matte but it's actually a bit dewy, which is great" - no thank you!

Does anyone have any tried and tested recommendations?

Try the brands that are more aimed at teenagers. Boots 17 used to do one.

Rimmel, Maybelline and Revolution might be worth a try and are decent brands.

I just mix Estee Lauder Double Wear with a bit of my moisturiser. Works a treat. They do a lighter DW but nothing beats the original

Lily lolo mineral foundation in Candy Cane. Perfect shade for my fair cool toned skin.

I use the make up revolution Conceal & define foundation - has LOADS of shades, doesn't feel heavy but definitely not a "dewy" foundation at all. It's also cheap!

Thank you! I will give some of these a try. I don't normally wear foundation because it always goes oily on me, but I need some for a few events this year. I used to use Clinique but it oxidises on me. I think I'll start with the Lily Lolo one, as I've never used a mineral foundation.
