Heated rollers for 11 year old?

DD’s 11th birthday is coming up. She has naturally straight hair but loves it if I curl it with straighteners for her. I’m thinking she’d probably love some heated rollers but there are so many on Amazon I don’t know what to get. Can anyone recommend any that would be suitable for her (I’ll help her with them?) or something else which would do the same job? Budget up to £50. Thank you!

What about a heatless curler? It's like a soft bendy rod that she can twist her slightly damp hair in before bed, sleep in and wake up with lovely curls, without any heat damage 🙂

Thanks - I did see those, do they work? She often sleeps in plaits to get curls in the mornings so I guess it’s the same principle.

My kids have picked up some strange ideas from Tik Tok involving heatless curlers and socks. Seems to work though.

My SDs have used them and they work. But I think the hair needs to be reasonably long - below the shoulder - so you can get a couple of twists around the rod.
