Hello, I am trying to sell my ghds on vinted. Every time I post them they are being deleted by Vinted and I'm getting a message about selling used cosmetics/hair accessories.
I'm totally at a loss as there are ghds on sale all over Vinted.
I have provided lots of pictures to prove authenticity, I have said that they are used but in excellent condition.
I'm just going round in a loop.
Can anybody help? Thank you

Hair accessories. I have bought 3 styling products from Vinted before, none of which were in the box. There are ghds all over Vinted. I really don't understand.

I believe any electrical item such as hair dryers and straightening irons have to be new with tags. It's the same when selling knickers too.

I believe many get round this by stating their items are 'new with tags', hence the many GHDs for sale.

Beauty > Beauty tools > hair styling tools

That's where the straighteners etc go!

I've tried every which way and whatever I do Vinted are deleting the listing. It's an absolute mystery. There are ghds everywhere, listings stating NO BOX, USED A HANDFUL OF TIMES etc. this is similar to how I listed mine and they are just not having it at all. Very frustrating when so many other ghds on there!

I've now been banned from Vinted! I can't believe it. I literally have no idea how to list straighteners. They were no help at all and now I'm banned! I tried every option! There are hundreds of hair styling tools on the site!!!! How did they do it!

Is there any chance you can contact them for the ban to be removed?
Vinted deleted an item I bumped as pics didn't follow the guidelines (that's true, I stupidly wasn't aware of breaking the guidelines as I saw lots of people doing the same with pics so thought it was allowed). I guess it shows that they only ban/delete what they notice and there are lots that slip through the net.

I also bought a used swimming costume and sold mine and only recently found out used swim wear can't be sold on vinted 😦😦

This is happening to me too! So many others are selling hair tools on Vinted but I can only add ‘new with tags’. I’ve got several tools to sell - all really good condition but without the boxes. Is there a better platform to sell them on? I’m hoping to trade them all in for a multi styler!!

Did you use stock pictures on vinted? That's not allowed and they took down something I was selling because I used them.

I literally set up an account to answer you as I had the same issue. You can list it through the electrical section rather than the beauty section and it gives you the option to choose the condition. Hope that helps! Sorry your account got banned and hope you can set up a new one
