I have always bought 2 packs for £5 but looking to economise for workwear. Bought 5 pack once few years back but they wrinkled at ankles.

Have they improved in recent years?

In my view they are false economy. The ones l have tried go into holes and/or quickly, slip and slide, plus have an almost non existent crotch. They can also be patchy in colour. I’m not sure that the designer has ever seen a woman in their life.

M&S Autograph cost more, are much tougher, last much longer and have a cotton gusset.

I like the M&S Autograph 60 denier Velvet Touch tights.
Expensive but feel lovely.
Previously I bought the BodySensor multi pack. But they ripped at the toe and they didn't feel as nice so false economy for me.
I actually darned the holes 🙄

I buy the M&S Autograph ladder resists tights and hold ups. They last FOREVER!

DD visited over Christmas and was moaning about her tights but couldn’t see that the M&S ones would be worth the extra so I bought her a packet. Saw her again a couple of weeks ago and she was raving about them. Not a single pair laddered or with “catches”. She said she will only be buying those ones from now on!

The high denier Primark are great and really last
