Trousers for work - short hourglass

Hello All

I usually wear dresses or skirts and tops ( more tricky) for work but really fancy some trousers, particularly for this in between-ey spring time.

I really struggle to find any that look good though! I’m quite short (163 cm) and an hourglass with a high waist. 10-12 depending on the brand - small waist but have hips and boobs! Definitely need something that isn’t too slim, but equally wide trousers can very easily swamp me and make me look kind of square shaped/dumpy. I’m fair and green eyed and have been trying to avoid black - so have more tops etc that go with navy but could do black if nothing else! Happy (and expecting) to have to get things turned up.

Work is smart/casual. I’d love something I could wear with brougue type shoes/smart trainers. Don’t mind spending a bit more for something that really works.

Shape similar and have similar struggles.

I like the shape of the Richmond trousers at Biden, but the waist/ hips ratio doesn't work for me, I don't love them enough to get them altered and there's no belt loops to fix it with a belt.

However, depending on your exact shape, they might be worth a try.

i am similar shape size- Abercrombie & Fitch’s Sloane trousers work for me- the “Curve Love” range have a better waist/hip ratio for an hourglass figure. Come in different leg lengths too!

I am saving up for a few more colours!

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
@123ZYX - I’ve also tried the Richmond but similar problems. Also find that often pockets don’t sit right either.

@Chitterchatterchoo have you tried Pixie Girl? They do lots of decent petite things including trousers. If I remember correctly their trousers are mostly 27" inside leg and some even shorter at 25". I have quite a lot of their trousers and jeans and they're really flattering for my small frame (similar frame to you)

Thanks @jonnyjanetkeogh - no I haven’t will take a look! I’m also quite petite framed so hopefully they might work
