Fitted jumpers

Following the recent success with stretchy t-shirt tops, I'm wondering if Mumsnet could also please help me out with where to find fitted jumpers please?

I'm looking for spring/autumn so not heavy jumpers, 3/4 or full sleeve, love a boat neck but open minded, good enough quality to look office smart and last. For a long body with a waist (so no M&S).

These photos show the kind of cut I'm looking for. Belted or crossover jumpers or cardigans work well on me too but I can't even find photos of them. Any pointers would be very much appreciated please.

Sorry I forgot to say I can't do anything with polo neck/roll neck/turtle neck- I have a long neck and they always look ridiculous on me.

Mango always has lots of fitted knitwear.

Thank you, these are all better than where I had been looking, though I've not seen anything quite right to order yet.

French connection always have great fitted knitwear. I'm very long of body and they work amazingly on me. Often on TK max too!

Used to be termed “ fully fashioned” so some brands may use this if you look out for it. It’s cheaper to manufacture straight up & down on commercial knitting machines. Lots of hand knitting patterns include waist shaping if you can knit.

Unfortunately, I don’t find these easy to find at all (am also long- bodied and look much better in things with a defined waist) . Pure Collection’s cashmere cardigans used to be shaped, they seem to have changed the specs recently and aren’t so good. Some of their jumpers may still have waist shaping, it might be worth ring8ng them to check.

As PP mentioned knitting…if you enjoy it and could tackle a jumper, it’s not difficult to add waist shaping even if the pattern doesn’t include it.

Shame they have to be 'posh' brands.....Primark have plenty like that on sale at the moment, only £4!! (some of them are even wool blend).😀

Thanks for the extra tips, I'll check these out. Knitting is unfortunately not an option I have time for just now. I'm not snobby about brands but don't want to go to all the bother of finding something great for it to then go bobbly in the wash.
