my 'tache is becoming resilieent to jolen- what now?

dont wanna be a bearded lady just yet!!!! should i wax it or what??? (but then i would have stubble would nt i and thats so not a good look )
have jolened it since forever but its taking longer and longer to bleach these days and there is always one patch that just refuses to bloody go blonde. . what can i do oh stylish ones???

can't you apply mascara to them before zapping, prufrock?

i don't know how well taht would work, Iota, since IPL kills off the follicle as well, and you can't dye the hair that.

I enquired about IPL, but was put off by the leave for a month to let the hair grow (I'd have to wear a balaclava on the school run)

my ipl definitely works on the lighter hairs. ooh i would love my bikini done but then i wouold have to get my legs done and where do you stop!

Fairer yes, but they haven't yet invented one for hair that is actually paler than the surrounding skin. I have some fine but dark hairs, and then a mass of really fine, blonde downy hairs, and the IPL just won't touch them.

But I cannot recommend enough having your bikini line done - I am so looking forward to a summer without groin beard/stubble/ingrowing hairs. And my bikini line is so firmly attached that waxing makes me bleed - but IPL has just disappeared it

iota if you have the stomach for it you can shave your tache while waiting for ipl, they have to shave it anyway before the treatment.

Nice thought Iota, but it picks up the melanin, so dye doesn't work. You don't have to leave the hairs that long though - as long as you remove by non plucking methods - so you can still cut them or use veet

I've had 2, and have about a 50% reduction - really noticeable bald patches.

i would love my bikini & legs done.

is ILP the same as what is offered at White light therapy - cos I had this done on my upper lip and it didn't reduce it at all!

what is intense pulse light??? how much is it etc etc? where does one get it done?

also re bleaching, tis a nighmare if you are fair of skin and thus have to be fakebaked throughout the summer as if you bleach your tache you also bleach the skin around it making you look even more bloody ridiculous!

I'm interested in IPL as well. How close together can you have sessions?

another who needs to know! I keep finding Jolen doesn't work properly any more. How do you find a good place to go for eg IPL.

I bought a gadget (after drinking) from QVC - it's a single hair battery epilator. Works wonderfully for me as long as I use it regularly, but i know some people have had ingrown hairs with epilators.
