Everything in the shops is high-waisted at the moment. I'm 52, 5'2 and have a short torso and look silly in high-waisted anything. Plus they crush my abdomen and make me feel uncomfortable.
I need jeans (in a warm mid-blue ideally), and some comfortable elasticated trousers or joggers for WFH. But I don't want to be in frumpy old lady style elasticated waist stuff.
Style wise for jeans I like a classic levis slimmish straight leg look (annoyingly all levis jeans are currently either jeggingy or high waisted or both). I'm an apple ish shape, slimmish, narrow hips and rubbish small bum, bit of a small extra tyre around the middle (that can fortunately be hidden by boobs).
I rarely shop, but like browsing places like Toast & Me & Em & Brora but don't have the budget!
I've seen that Toast do pull on trousers but they're all too much ££££.
Any suggestions?
