Tummy tuck in 2 weeks.
Equally terrified and excited. For those of you that have had one, what were your essentials for recovery?
I need to get a little stock pile going :)

TIA x

@lifshitzrodda Hi there.
super excited for you! Have you wanted to do this for long?

I had seen a surgeon on instagram and followed her for years. I think I was boarding obsession 🤣. When I decided to go ahead with surgery and met her I just loved her way of explaining and the time she took with me.

I paid approx £10k.

Regarding getting booked in for late April, you might get lucky with a cancellation. I think I was approx 10 months booked before the surgery date.

where in the UK do you live?

@lifshitzrodda my advice would be to not go through websites. You need to find a surgeon and follow his work. Not the other way round. That's really quite important

I went with a surgeon in the south east and paid 8k in 2020. You'd be looking at over 10k now I think

It is truly life changing surgery

@lifshitzrodda companies are very good at removing and blocking reviews! I spent a long time researching my surgeon and I chose one of the top ones in the UK. He is absolutely phenomenal and worked some sort of miracle on me!

I've attached a pic. The before was the night before surgery believe it or not. And I don't tend to pose so much in my underwear now but hopefully you'll get the gist!

Not sure if its helpful but I got this tummy tuck recovery help guide and it kept me sane, I used the journal to track each day as I was going insaneee not knowing if what I was feeling was normal (and wanting to call my surgeon all the time lol), also I didn't want to eat at all but it gave me some ideas of stuff when I actually could eat again and the 7 day meal plan ideas contains foods to assist with your scar healing etc. It also has progressive exercises listed that you can do as your recovery goes on week by week for anyone wanting to move but unsure what they can and can’t do and when! I also found the hospital bag checklist super helpful - just thought i'd share!! https://stan.store/SoCreativeSolutionss/p/pov-im-having-a-tummy-tuck--a-help-guide
Good luck with your recovery!!
