What jeans do I want ?

I'm 5'8 size 12, in my 50's.
Reasonably good shape.
Haven't had any new jeans for a long time and looking to buy a couple of pairs. Not sure what styles to go for.
Something that looks good with decent trainers. Not too try hard.
Any tips? Thanks

What shape are you? I'm quite pear shaped so need something with a waist but flattering on the thighs!

Both my favourite pairs of jeans are M&S and I'm not an M&S shopper at all!! Everyone I complement on their jeans says they're M&S.

They have a fab range so go and try lots of styles on? My faves are Mom jeans and boyfriend.

I’ve found MnS jeans have really gone down hill. I recently found a style I liked but the cut and fit was completely different in each colour way I tried. I thought it was really poor that I had to go up two sizes from the grey jeans to the blue.

I’ve been on the hunt for some wide leg jeans for ages and have finally found the right pair for me. They’re Elise Wide Leg Jeans from FatFace.

Try on all different shapes and forget fashion- buy what suits your figure and you feel good in .

I think you're probably right and I need to go and try some pairs on.

(To be honest I wish I could just go back to my 501s from the 80's!)

I am a similar size, height, and age and I'm mostly wearing 501s. Some from the 80s/90s.

Why can’t you go back to 501s? Classic but also very now.

I'm trying to lose abit of weight and I'm going to treat myself to some Levi jeans if I manage to.
