Does anyone have experience with jeans sizing at Sezane?
I've bought their trousers before in a size 12 and they're an ideal fit. (I'm usually between a 10 and 12 depending on the brand; I know French sizes are a bit less generous than eg Danish or American sizing so I would normally assume a 12 in Sezane).
But denim is trickier. I hate spending good money on jeans only to find that after a few wears, what fitted perfectly at first is now loose and saggy. This happens more with jeans that have elastane in, and the Sezane ones I'm eyeing up are 2% elastane. So I'm always tempted to go smaller/tighter with jeans at first, and then let them give over the first few wears.
I COULD just order the 10 and the 12 but I would love to avoid sending anything back if possible. (Obviously if the size I buy IS wrong, I will have to send them back, but I would prefer to avoid this scenario if I can!)
The website says, with these jeans, to go up a size if between sizes. But as I say, I'm keen to avoid the loosening-up-after-a few-wears issue! I've bought very expensive jeans in the past that I can't wear any more as they were just the wrong size about 2 weeks after buying!
Anyone know how generous (or otherwise) Sezane jeans sizing is? Thanks in advance!
