Wedding outfit ideas needed

Hi I'm looking for some help from the wonderful ladies of S&B.

I've been invited to a posh wedding in central London this summer. I live in the Highlands very rurally and as such I am a very casual dresser, I am excited about getting dressed up for this wedding.

I'm looking for outfit advice and what is in fashion for weddings. Happy to spend approx £120 ISH on the dress with extra for shoes etc. I am hoping to buy it on eBay or similar.

I am 52, 5ft 8 and between a 10 and 12. I have a 32C bust and quite big shoulders. I'd say I was brick shaped don't have great waist definition but do like my legs. I'm blonde(highlights) with extremely pale skin and hazel eyes.

I buy most of my clothes second hand and the brands I like are Hobbs,whistles,baukjen, Boden,&other stories and jigsaw. I have seen dresses online from needle and thread that I like.

Ideas of what is in fashion would be great as well as any outfit ideas. I like green, teal and cerise and lots of colour.

Thankyou in advance for your help xx

@Lexie6

Where is the wedding itself taking place? And the reception?

Primrose Hill, Cecil Sharpe house. I think the whole day and night is there x

I know where that is, it's in Camden.

I've been there before - they hold classes in dance there.

My friend wanted to try Cajun dance, so we went along.

In the main room on that evening, they were holding a Ceilidh which was full of people - it looked so much fun!

@Lexie6

Will there be dancing as part of the reception, OP?

I'm asking because you will want to wear an outfit you can dance in, so maybe a fuller skirt and suitable shoes.

I was wondering whether you would be wearing a hat but I suspect not.

We were at a wedding there is Sep last year, we had a Ceilidh! Wonder if it's the one you're taling about?😄
OP I wore a navy jumpsuit off Vinted. I wouldn't say the venue is massively posh.

These are your colours and with your height and slim figure, it might be just the thing - also shows your legs, which you like.

Here's a Hobbs dress in green with more leg room if you're dancing:
