Mid 40's hen do outfit

What shall I wear?

It's in Manchester, meal then cocktails and dancing.

I haven't been out out for well over a decade. I know generally it's more casual now but how casual for a big night out?

I don't want to look stuck in the 00's!

I could have written this post @Maising I’m slightly younger, but haven’t been out out since covid.

My two options so far are black jeans/bright cami, or midi skirt/cami (it’s not until June). I’m not sure if one’s too dressy and the other’s too casual.

What would you feel most comfortable in?

Pyjamas 🤣

I've got nice dresses/jumpsuits but they all feel too dressy 🤷‍♀️. Footwear 🤷‍♀️

I'd wear a midi dress and either boots or trainers, depending on the weather. That kind of thing can look either dressy or not.

Thank you both for your ideas, think I need to not overthink this!

Just seen there's another hen do thread, so will look on there too. Apologies for the duplicate!
