Do hair dyes expire

I have 3 boxes of L’ oreal casting crème gloss hair dye that I bought just before the first lockdown in March 2020. Does anyone know if it is safe to still use?

Safe - yes
Effective - maybe not

i don’t have that much grey hair so maybe I will take my chances and give it a try.

As long as it isn't open it should be fine, the colour doesn't go "off" unless it's exposed to the air.
