Hair Mesh Integration System

I have very thin hair and not much of it .

I was wondering whether it's worth to invest in hair mesh integration, if someone has it , is it worth it ? does it look natural?

Thank you X

Hi there

i had mesh integregation in November and it was a disaster. I had to have it removed at the end of January. It looked wiggy - I was asked to remove “my wig” at an MRI scan and it was bulky and itchy. The topper was in a horrendous state. I’m researching to see if any salons close to me do a “perimeter” system, a gentler version of hair extensions

Following as my hair is thinning badly.

sorry to hear @KittyKatie32 do you think they’re generally shit or did you just get unlucky with whoever did it?

A woman I work with has got a partial one & it looks quite good. She said the upkeep is expensive & time consuming. She followed a few accounts on insta for about 6 months before she took the plunge. She had to travel quite far to the preferred salon, Peterborough I think.

I do wonder if they’re that good if actually loads of people are wandering round with then and we just don’t notice

if we all noticed who had one then clearly they wouldn’t be looking that natural.

That is a really good question! I think they do put tension on your own hair, but I had a consultation at Godiva in Doncaster (for a wig) and saw some of their clients looked great. Plus they do meshLESS as they say that mesh is itchy, bulky and causes cradle cap - which it did to me! I didn’t go to this salon, I won’t name publicly where I went. I like the idea of the Godiva perimeter system too (alternative to extensions) which I may look into that, I just wish there was somewhere closer to me. They are some fantastic wigs out there on Etsy, etc also toppers may be a good alternative for you 😊 x

i got it on 31rst of March , on 4th of april my scalp started to crack and i was in agony . I couldn't work or sleep . ( pain started immediately but i was told its my scalp adjusting )

She installed it so badly and so tightly I felt like i'm having a face lift . My GP and other hair extensions technicians were horrified and told me it need to be taken off

She told me she will see me in 5 days , so i lost all respect for that hairdresser , she was happy to leave me in agony . I thought she has a duty of care..

I showed her photos and videos and explained i'm taking 8 painkillers a day . And i can't sleep or work . All i did was cry .

She said she had other customers so i went to take it off place else . She also said she is 54 and pregnant so cant help me cause her GP told her to rest more .

I had full head of hair , it was just thin.

I can't warn others as she gets my reviews deleted as "personal attack ".

So had that for 9 days was one of worst decisions ever and those 9 days were like a year of pain and suffering for me .
I'm £1300 in a minus , missed work and am
depressed now . and have balding patches :(

This is the damage after 9 days only .
I'm so depressed. And i want my money back .

Even the front , it doesn't suppose to look like that . I have more photos and videos of before and after but can only post 3 .
Please don't do it !

Learn from my mistake X

That hairdresser even said it's an allergy but allergies can be deadly so how could she leave me like that ?

I feel ripped off financially, emotionally and literally .

Terrible terrible experience, no apologies.

Just blaming me - she accused me off pulling hair off . as if pulling on sore patches is smth i'd do .

And she hit my review deleted by saying an appointment was offered but i refused it .
Lies . I asked her why she said that. Answer was " I was GOING to offer you but you didn't give me a chance "

To be honest i would be scared to even to take it offf with her , i think she'd rip more hair off .

Since then i discovered her reviews are fake - coming from family and company is dissolved
Also she stole name from multi awarding salon.

Dunno what to do now . Looks like i just have to move on . Feel violated

Hair Mesh Integration System

Hello, I’m having difficulties keeping the front of my Mesh Integration System stuck down. I’m using Walker tapes but the mesh keeps moving and coming unstuck. I regularly have it tightened every 4-5 weeks.
When I remove the tape I clean the area/scalp with miceller water and allow to dry before applying the new tape and place the mesh on top of the tape. Can anyone recommend anything to else or different to keep my system more secure for longer. Thank you.
