Boden sizing

I'm 5'8", 13.5 stone, wear UK size 16 or L in Lands End. Size chart comparison between Lands End and Boden suggests I should buy size 18 in Boden - but their size algorithm thing suggests I should buy size 22!

Do Boden size ridiculously small, or is their algorithm nonsensical?

No, Boden doesn’t size ridiculously small IME. I never use those sizing algorithms, they never work for me. The best thing about Boden is that they provide exact garment measurements on the website for each garment in every size. This is so useful because if you have your own measurements, you can pick the size for that garment which will work best.

Sizing is a total mess, not least because stores don’t always tell you whether a garment is designed to be slim fitting, loose or very oversized.
