Foreo Bear 2 Advanced Microcurrent Toning Device - can't use it.

Even at the lowest current I can't use it comfortably. I'm getting "shocks" all over my face. When I do my chin my bottom teeth feel so sore. It's just extremely uncomfortable all over. How do I know if I have a faulty machine?

I’ve no idea about faulty machine but are you using a conductive gel or serum? I’ve been using normal gel used in baby scans etc and it’s all fine, even on highest setting. One time I accidentally made contact with an area with no gel and it was agony!

I used mine yesterday with my usual watery serum but had a lot of prickles/ stinging. I'd forgotten that I had used another serum beforehand and I suspect the glycerine in that one acted as an oil. Used it again today as usual and no stinging. I do find one of my bottom front teeth feels sensitive, almost sore, when i go over it- no obvious damage to the tooth though.
