Joules?

FluffyToesMeow · 09/03/2024 03:13

Joules is a bit too home counties, florals with stripes and bees for me.

Next is often too full of polyester / viscose.

Am wondering if there's something out there I haven't heard of....

I'm not sure, but could be worth a mention. Joanie clothing, a lot of it is retro style but some of it can be gorgeous. They've also started using a lot more natural fibres. You may find some bits you like. You may be repulsed by it all! 😂 I love a bright print, retro patterns and 60s shapes.

Desperado40 · 09/03/2024 10:09

Oliver bonas is hit and miss but there are some nice pieces, washes well.

Ah yes I have had a few nice bits off Joanie. Thanks for mentioning. I also really like Disko Kids 😊

Definitely a bit hit and miss. But one of my favourite dresses is OB. I've worn it loads! A few years old now. I'm not always keen. But yes mostly nice quality.

I used to like Hush but I'm not loving them at the moment.

TK Maxx (online) occasionally stock some Wyse items. I really like their stuff but it is pricey.

Desperado40 · 10/03/2024 09:19

@FluffyToesMeow We have very similar tastes! I will check out Disco Kids. Also used to like Hush but not so much at the moment. I also buy in Stradivarius & Gap for some basics/staples.
