Don't like my balyage!

It's partly my fault, I massively underestimated the time involved and rushed my hair dresser a bit, that's on me.
But I don't like the colour, it's a bit yellow, and for various reasons I can't go back to her to get it fixed, mostly time, I just can't get to the salon.
Do I stick a blue toner on it and hope it comes up less yellow but lighter, or but a dark blonde toner to just dampen down the effect of the whole thing?
Ggargh it cost a fortune and I just don't like it.

I think it looks lovely! Lots of lovely colours in it! 😊

The colour is actually really nice but agree looks more like highlights… if you can get into a salon rather than trying to mess with it at home a root drag / smudge might help break up the top section so it looks more like balayage and shouldn’t take too long to do.

I find that blonde colour can be quite bright initially, then it tones down & your hair settles (if it’s been cut) too. Plus, when it’s new to your eyes, they don’t read it right at first.

I'd try and really condition it

And blow dry it well so it's sleek

See how that looks

Then try and curl it with tongs and see which you prefer

It just looks a bit disheveled and dry at the ends which isn't doing it any favours

Balayage can take up 5 hours
