Eyelash serum that really works?

That’s it, really. I’ve tried a few and they’ve done nothing. Do any actually work?

Revitalash does but it's expensive and you do have to use it religiously. I apply it last thing before I go to bed and it does make your lashes longer with time.

Icystars · 05/03/2024 21:54

I’ve been using uk lash for 4 weeks now and my lashes don’t look any different despite everyone raving about it.

SgtJuneAckland · 05/03/2024 21:58

Rapidlash, I used it the first time a few years ago after I'd had lash extensions that destroyed my eyelashes. I started using it again recently because I swim a lot now and decided to give up on mascara day to day and get a lift and tint and thought it might help. After the second time my lash lady asked what I was doing to my eyelashes as she could see a noticeable difference, she takes before and after pictures (close up just the lashes) and scrolled through and found my first lot and there was a clear difference, length and sheer number.

UK lash is brilliant and is cheaper than others.

It takes 3 months to work. This is because it is the full growing cycle. Nearly everyone who says it doesn't work hasn't waited long enough. I noticed around 10 weeks. My Lashes were thicker, longer and a bit darker.

I’m still keeping going with it. Hopefully I will see a difference in a few weeks then but not feeling hopeful

Revitalash. Unbelievable difference and cheaper on eBay.

I've been using this and my eyelashes have definitely grown. I can't believe how long they've got. I've was definitely sceptical. This is pricey though, I got it in the Look Fantastic advent calendar. I've bought a tube of UK lash to use once it's finished and I'll be so disappointed if it's not at good and I just don't think I can justify paying twice the price.

I use the ordinary one - and that seems to be workin. Have bought 2 more

LaWench · 05/03/2024 22:19

I have a funky eye infection that's given me incredible eyelashes on one side. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

I have UKLash for the other eye in the hopes they'll match at some point but I haven't noticed any improvements

Netaporter · 05/03/2024 22:28

I’d recommend Sweed. Not cheap but works really well.

NotNowNorman · 05/03/2024 22:30

Revitalash - but be careful, I used it for six months and developed amazing lashes... plus some patches of discolouration on my eyelid which still haven't faded.

BIossomtoes · 05/03/2024 22:32

The thing that’s really improved my lashes is this. They’re the best they’ve ever been. I know it’s expensive but it lasts about six months and it genuinely works. It’s a good eye cream too.

I agree with pp about Uklash, I use it religiously as I have lash extensions which are hard on my natural lashes.
You really need to keep using it to see the difference

Jewelanemone · 06/03/2024 06:42

I think the key to any serum is continuity. I've used Revitalash every single night for a year, never missing a single night. It took a couple of months to make a difference.

I know there are reported side effects but personally I haven't noticed any (yet), but I'm watchful.

ChilliPB · 06/03/2024 07:24

Any with prostaglandin should work, but be careful as you risk discolouration on the eyelids, change to eye colour and worse - periorbital fat loss (hollowing of the eyes). I would never use them.

I've read this on here before. What I don't understand is if it can dissolve fat why don't they put it in a big tube of body lotion??

Netaporter · 06/03/2024 07:41

I used sweed because it doesn’t have prostaglandin it it. The ordinary serum did nothing for my lashes.

DrJoanAllenby · 06/03/2024 08:04

Vaseline. I've been using it for over forty years and it's great for eyelashes, only a tiny amount requires at bed time.

Same here. Been using it since Christmas and I've been asked if I'd had eyelash extensions when wearing mascara. They've got that long they tickle me. You do need to use it permanently though

wingslikeeagles · 06/03/2024 13:02

Anyone know if castor oil actually works? I've been using it for a few weeks as I'm worried about the fat-dissolving thing in the serums. It hasn't worked yet - I'm not sure it will as on one bottom eyelid in particular I have barely any lashes. I think I'm beyond hope.
