Hi. Has anybody got these? Do they really not need any horrible breaking in? Are they worth the £££?

My beautiful Seasalt boots are on their last legs and no longer available, so I can’t just get another pair. Trying to decide whether to bite the bullet and go for the docs.

Thanks!

No they didn't need breaking in. However they only lasted me a year before the soles wore out and split on both boots.

I have many pairs of docs and the pascal are my comfiest pair and didn’t need breaking in whatsoever.

Thank you both.

Gosh - I’d expect them to last for years at that price!

Pascals don’t need breaking in, the leather is super soft. I occasionally find the width varies and they can pinch a bit across the front before stretching. This has only happened on 2/6 pairs though.

I had some they were "farty" when I walked, the retailer would not return as it would go, it never went.
They were then dog walking boots , lasted less than a year.
Docs are now fashion shoes and not great quality I wouldn't bother personally.

Look at Lanx or Solovair instead.

I got a pair this year - a total bargain on Vinted and they're the most comfortable boots I own. No breaking in at all - admittedly they were second hand but like new. They're so soft around the ankle, I love them.

Thanks everyone. I’ll have a look on Vinted first.

Mine are still horrible to wear.
