Help identify this bag (pic included)

Saw this bag in the wild yesterday at the local pub for Sunday lunch, carried by lady with a baby with tonnes of stuff. It's big enough and sturdy enough for what I need but for the life of me, I can't figure out what model this is. Can anyone help?

Have you thought about it may be a knock off, that may be why you can't find it? Not shaming, some of them look good!

I don't think it actually is, but it's close.
Maybe it's a very old model that they don't make anymore?

Did it definitely have a zip? It looks like a cross between a 1980s Boulogne (shoulder straps at the end) and a Babylone (beige band along the bottom).

I think @okaythenright might be correct and maybe it's a fake.

I also think it's an older model (if it's real) because of the banding on it that doesn't seem to be on the current LV bags. Not sure if it's the sun but the banding and straps look more orangey leather.

I feel quite invested in this thread so hoping an LV expert can identify it for you (even though you might not get the exact one!)

Amazing input from everyone, thank you. I'm pretty sure it's a zip on top, that's one of the reasons I liked it but perhaps my eyes deceived me.

Maybe it's a fake and that's why I can't find it, that could be an explanation, I don't know enough about LV bags to tell the difference between fake and real...

@zzpleb I think you're the closest with the Boulogne/Babylone

I don't know if it's just the quality of your photo, but doesn't the underneath side of the strap look like it's the rough inner face of a piece of leather, a sign that the strap is made from a single layer of leather? Wouldn't a genuine LV be made from two layers of leather, with smooth leather on both sides?

That's a vintage bag, someone identified it as the amfar earlier on.

From the current line up, the carryall MM is a similar shape but has a tie closure instead of a zip.

The totally PM/MM is a tote bag with a zip but it's also been discontinued. It is more recent than the amfar and easier to find on the resale market though. Good luck hunting!

I've been to nice restaurants where they bring a little stool for your bag, the local pub isn't one of those! Yeah, maybe you're all right and it's a made in Turkey version

Thank you again @zzpleb for finding the bag! In the end I got the LV Totally in the MM size, used of course, and I really like it. Similar to the Neverfull but with a zip at the top. It's great for work and commute, today I had my laptop, shoes, chargers, makeup bag and it goes over my shoulder even with a bulky coat on.

I'm still tempted by the Amfar but reigning myself in 😂👜
