Wedding dress - how long?

I have tried and fell in love with several from Whistled but all pool around my feet in the front, even with heels. I can’t see how these can be altered due to design but I am not sure if they should just about hit to floor at the front, otherwise how can I walk? Please tell me about your wedding dress length, I am lost and no bridesmaid to help. Thank you.

If it can't be altered at the bottom can it be altered at the waist? I've heard of that happening with certain dresses where there is a design element at the hem.

No, can’t be altered not at waist, not at straps.

Can you add a hoop/petticoat type thing to add more volume, which might bring the dress up? It’s hard to say without seeing the dress

Do you mean Whistles? Or is this a brand of wedding dress?
What does the shop say?

Assuming the former, and it's a standard offer with no petite range I'd look for a reputable local seamstress and take in your preferred dress and have a chat.

Personally having a dress that worked with a very low heel was a life saver. Also stopped the skirt from being totally trashed when you inevitably take off your shoes. At a lively wedding there is inevitably food and spillages on the floor.
With a delicate fabric you also have to beware stones and other snagging risks when out doing pics.

Can you post a pic/link to the dress? Clearly depending on the skirting, could you have a loop added which goes around your wrist when dancing, walking etc to lift it up so you don't trip over it?
