Halara clothes?

I’ve been looking at Halara clothes for a while, but have been reluctant to order anything as you have to cover the costs of returning orders. Has anyone tried them? What’s the quality like and the fit?

I bought the wide legged jeans with high waist that are all over Instagram atm. Chose L , which is supposedly 16-18, which I’m not - I wear 16s or 14s UK.

quality seems fine, but they are very, very tight round the waist. Hoping they stretch out a bit or they’ll have to wait for my diet to work better

Thanks for this. I’m the same 14-16 so didn’t want them to be too baggy

I've got some of the wide leg jeans. So comfy. And even though they are stretchy they don't emphasise my lovely apron belly but fall straight u like my normal jeans.
Went through the wash and tumble dryer yesterday and looking just as good as new.
I also got some shorts and dungarees. Have tried these on but more summery so not worn them yet. I got DD2 a exercise top (to put me over the free gift option) which was a long sleeved top I bought in DD1's size and she absolutely loves it. Really flattering and so soft.

Mine have given just enough round the waist to be comfy now

I found mine, the front pleated straight leg trousers, were a bit tight around the waist but I've lost weight so they're now a bit loose. I've also hot a pair of long linen ones which are too long unless I wear my high wedges. I have 33" inside leg.

Omg I am so disappointed with my Halara order. The quality and the fit is terrible. And I have just submitted an “application” for return 😥 I regret this so much! I read this thread before I ordered and I thought it would be ok :( the site doesn’t imply returns would be tricky I always check. Shit this feels like a scam

Newstartplease24 · 15/04/2025 13:49

I’m not suggesting it’s literally a scam. I mean I am getting the sinking feeling you get when youve been scammed

Oh no! That is so disappointing!

I had a similar story with a brand called O m e g a Walk footwear (I have to type it like that or mumsnet filters it out - that is how shit and spammy the brand is)! The website looked like an outdoorsy, European brand. Got the shipping alert and of course they were coming from the other side of the world, so had to clear customs etc and took ages to arrive. When they got to me they were so cheap and nasty. Not what I thought I'd ordered at all. I then checked their returns policy and it said I had something like 30 days to return them, but they'd taken so long to get to me, that time was almost up. I then would have needed to ship them myself (just an address in China provided on the website instead of a returns label or QR code). Then they would "consider a partial return after taking a restocking fee". Total scam.

I stopped buying anything online only unless I knew the brand really well, like Asos or something, and knew their returns policy was OK.

Someone up thread mentioned checking trustpilot and I think that is a good tip. Look for the bad reviews and check if they all have the same things in common (hard to return etc). Ignore the tonnes of 5* reviews. They are so fake in the case of the one I fell for.

I buy my daughter the leggings for pe, they are amazing last ages and great quality.

Newstartplease24 · 15/04/2025 14:42

I’ll never do this again. I actually checked here first 😭

So annoying. Some of these brands are a total scam. The more I see a brand on SM, the worse they seem to turn out to be!

Thank you so much for updating the thread though, as I will avoid them now for sure

Newstartplease24 · 15/04/2025 15:24

the things I got are horrible quality but the returns faff is somehow more annoying. You’re welcome :) I should know better, I don’t know what I was thinking

Apple2023 · 15/04/2025 17:04

I ordered something recently and was really disappointed and had to pay to return it. I’d ordered previously in 2024 and was happy….so not sure if quality has gone down hill or quality varies item to item.

doodleschnoodle · 15/04/2025 17:09

I love them. Fit great, wash well, super comfy. I’ve had a few people ask where I’ve got my jeans and subsequently buy their own pairs from them. Not had to deal with their customer service though as I hear that’s crap. But purely on the clothes, no complaints. I think they are true to size and maybe on the generous side because of the stretch. I could easily fit into a 8-10 at size 10 bottom half and it’s even a bit loose now.
