A perm!

Do perms still exist?Is there such thing as a modern day perm?
I have thin shoulder length hair.It's getting thinner with age.looks very flat & drab.
Any advice?

Don’t do it! I did it and loved it at first, but it needed constant work and left my hair crispy…

I also have thin shoulder length hair which would look very drab without my perm. I have it layered and have a light perm which gives it some volume. It’s long enough to put up on the days I don’t want to do anything with it.

They definitely still exist, when I'm scrolling through TikTok there's lots of people getting them. They look better than the perm I had in my teens, depending on what you go for I've seen some lovely ones.

It can't look much worse it already is.

My 10 year old Ds has a perm. As do a few of his friends. I think they are more fashionable with males at the moment!
