Has anyone had polynucleotide under eye treatment for their dark circles?

Hi, I am booked in for this in 2 weeks time and was wondering how you all got on with it? Are the results worth the cost? Is the process painful? I would really appreciate some feedback as it isn't cheap and i'll cancel if not worth the outlay.

I’ve just had it done, lower face and neck. Even with the numbing cream I still found it felt prickly, especially on the edge where the cream finished. I knew to expect little lumps, and maybe bruises but I was shocked by the size of the blisters . It looks like Mpox! The bruises were tiny, and they’re going. The lumps hadn’t gone down much by this morning. Been putting ice on them. They describe this procedure as having none or minimal down time. I disagree - I hated the journey home as they were very conspicuous and hard to hide, and I don’t want to go out. Was told I’d need three, but feel nervous about having any more sessions.Apparently some get noticeable results.

I had 3 sessions of polynucleotides of which the last one in March. By beginning of April I could really see the difference. Skin v healthy, fine lines greatly improved. A lot of comments on how healthy I looked. I did 2 areas eye and face. I have just had my maintenance top up for both areas. A lot of bumps some of which take a couple of days to go. I am 62yrs old and have also just started treatment on neck. I wonder if this treatment is better for mature skin than young skin as not really a noticeable difference from what I am reading.

Stumbled on this looking for something else. I can’t answer to the polynucleotides but I can give a warning re filler under the eyes. I had my second lot of removal a few weeks ago, my first filler removal 2 years ago, for filler that was injected 6 years ago.

I loved it for a year and then I started swelling up all around my orbital area. I would wake up with massive eye lids and under eye swelling. It never broke down and it spread. It was done by a qualified medical practitioner. I know the big brands (juverdem etc) have adapted the filler now for the eye area, but if you search on surgical and aesthetic forums it’s still happening.

The removal ended up costing more than the actual filler. I now would only go to an ocular surgeon for anything eye related. I am now planning on having a lower bleph to fix the lose crepey skin under my eyes (from the filler stretching it) - it will be a better use of my finances compared to the aesthetics!

Had two lots of polynucleotides and definitely worth the money. I'm 58 and it has significantly reduced the crepeiness underneath my eyes. It does take time to work, roughly 3 weeks, and results aren't immediate. Some people need 3 lots and some only one. It is not a filler.

Also, not all polynucleotides are equal. Mine are Viteran which is probably middle of the road and cheaper than Plinest.

Even with numbing cream and a fairly high pain threshhold I would say this procedure was painful.

Have a look at Nurse Sam from Bliss Aesthetics on Tiktok. She's really good at explaining the different treatments.
