Hi

going out for evening drinks with work. I never socialise and the only clothes I own are casual or wedding guest with not really much in between these two extremes

whats in fashion for drinks/meals?
I’m a size 12, 5’6”, large chest which I prefer covered up. Don’t want to wear heels. Dark brown hair, early 40’s

im open to all suggestions of something smart/casual please

What sort of place are you going to for drinks? Pub or cocktail bar? Village or city centre?

You sound identical to me!! Yes tell us about the venue then we can suggest some ideas.

Wide leg trousers or long skirt, plainish top, flat/chunky boots, hair up, chunky hoop or geometric earrings is my basic formula at the moment.

Just saw you don’t want to wear heels - how about smart white trainers? Or flat boots?

A smallish town with lots of nice pubs/bars

I’ve seen wide leg trousers are in so might try some of those on. Any links to nice ones or tips that would go?

These Nobody's Child ones are a bit more OTT but as you're tallish I think they would work.

Ohh I like the look at these nobody’s child ones. Definitely worth a try, thanks.
