Vinted algorithm

Does anyone know how to change the Vinted algorithm? I'm seeing 97% Mint Velvet in recommended even though I'm not following that brand. I've tried to delete the cache but can't see how to do that on the app. I've also tried searching for different brands but it makes no difference l still get Mint Velvet in my recommended items.

I don't even bother with that. Just search for what you need, select size and then brand. You can also filter all the 'good/ very good'. And sort by price. No need for their algorithms!

That's strange. Do you do lots of searches?My vinted algorithm is scarily accurate to stuff I like!

I had this, I searched for a particular top from a brand I don't tend to search for on Vinted a couple of times and then kept getting that brand - a couple more searches and a few more likes on stuff not from that brand sorted it

Have you favourited other stuff? That seems to drive the recommendations for me.

My purchases drive what is recommended.

I don’t ever look at my recommendations. I just look at my previously searched items and see what new ones have been added.

Thanks for the replies. I'm probably feeding the algorithm by scrolling through the recommended items. I will just do searches and see what happens.
