Help! Bought myself a vit c serum 10 days ago and have been overusing it since then, didn't realise I was meant to was my hands! Face is fine as I put other product on over the top but my hands are like a bad Oompa Loompa. Anything I can to do to get rid quickly?!

My hands smell like developing fake tan.

What brand is it, is it a cheap one? Vitamin C is a really unstable ingredient and can oxidise fairly quickly. The staining is because it has oxidised to erythrulose which is a fake tan ingredient. A lot of the more expensive brands use a more stable formula but exposure to light over time will mean oxidisation. Nothing you can do I dont think to get it off your hands though it should go quickly with washing. If you've only just bought the serum I'd take it back and ask for a replacement

It's The Ordinary was only £7. I've since learnt it's sometimes used in fake tans...

I've used a bit c toner and face scrub from no7 with issues but then not really in contact with my hands and more £.

I'd throw it away. It can irritate and damage your skin if it's oxidised

Thanks @XiCi in the bin. Hands starting to fade!
