Hair and eyebrows

I've always been really sparse of brow and lash, especially as I've gone through my 40s. I'm a proper ginge so they're also very fair. After divorce, bereavement, bleaching, and two bouts of covid, my hair was also a disaster so I stopped all heat treatments and started taking supplements: about a year ago my hair started looking and feeling so much thicker and shinier and I was thrilled. I also started using UKLash on my eyebrows (due to dry sensitive eyes I couldn't use it on my lashes). Also started HRT in November (not for the eyebrows and hair, I hasten to add) Amazing results - I had proper eyebrows for the first time in decades, hair was thick, shiny and curly. Yay.

Now however, disaster. I haven't changed anything but my hair is starting to feel thinner again, and the eyebrows are disappearing again. Why could this be?! Can you get immune to hair vitamins and eyebrow serums? Or might it be simply the perimenopause marching on?

I really liked my new eyebrows. They did good things to my face! Perhaps I should change the serum. Any ideas?

Oh no!
I’ve heard that eyebrows thinning at the outer edges can be a sign of low thyroid, so worth checking that.
Also how are your ferritin levels? For new hair growth ferritin needs to be in the 80s and above so I’m told. Though the NHS sets its ‘normal’ range much lower.
Or could it be your hormone levels are dropping more and you need to increase HRT? I would ask your dr.
