Bra help

Can anyone help with bra sizes please. I'm currently wearing 36B but it doesn't fit well. I'm broad shouldered with a large rib cage & small boobs.
I just tried Boob or Bust, which came up with 36GG, which I'm fairly sure is wrong. 😆
My underbust is 36 or 38, my bust is 40.
There's only M&S, bravissimo, rugby & peller or boux something in my town.
Any suggestions?

The boob or bust is a starting point. If you measure 36 under bust that’s likely what band size you are. Can you get somewhere to try some bras on?

to determine cup size you need to know the difference between under bust and around bust measurements.

The difference is as follows
1” is A
2” is B
3” is C
… and so on.

you need to accurately measure the circumference of your body under the bust line. So, if you are 38” under bust and 40” around the breasts you will be a 38 B.

I think you are me! So following with interest in the hope of help. I swear my ribs are expanding with age.

Remember that a C cup on a 32 is smaller than a C cup on a 38

Cup sizes increase as the band width increases

So a 32 D will be similar to a 30 DD

I think I'm going to have to go into the Big City to get measured & try some on. 😬

Just back from a shopping trip. The girls are feeling lovely and supported now!

@deeplybaffled a fancy department store. At one point I had two ladies fetching me different bras to try!
