I need some new clothes- work and casual
I like Zara. Mostly.

Other than than I dont have many clear go to’s but I find the odd thing I like in Mint Velvet, French Connection, Me and Em, Saint and Sofia but couldn’t guarantee I would find anything within a whole collection some seasons.

I like the look of And other stories but it’s often itchy and made for younger women ie cropped. Arket is too stylised and dry.

I don’t like flowery or nipped in waists (I’m a square shape) and can’t justify designer but hate the cheap fabrics in H&M or Mango.

Does that help?

Im just so bored of the high street.

Please direct me some fabulous on line boutiques or websites that will wow me.
And not ASOS as I have a terrible attention span and scrolling through 800 possible pairs of jeans defeats me.

"I like the look of And other stories but it’s often itchy" - yes! This!
By the way both Arket and Stories are owned by H&M and I actually prefer the latter.
I've never bought anything from Sézane and it might be too girlie and/or frumpy for you, but I quite like browsing.
My favorite buys recently have been from M&S (a silk blouse) and New Look of all places, some fab shorter skirts + basic tops.

Otherwise …

American Vintage can be indescribably (and inexplicably) chic.

Batsheva is a brand I’m always recommending. Stylish and democratic (sizing wise).

And YBD is another curation of extraordinary newness. Once you’ve browsed here you will look at people still exclusively shopping from High St brands as if they have lost their minds.

Hiya!

Here to recommend Aligne.

They have some really nice fashion forward but still wearable stuff - definitely not aimed at the cropped t shirt demographic!
