Help finding a spring jacket.

Need some help finding a new jacket. I'm off to Belguim in April and need a new all purpose jacket. I don't want a puffer, I would like something that will go with jeans and dresses. I usually were a denim jacket, but not sure that will be warm enough. Has anyone got any ideas?

Cropped trench coat
Leather jacket
Khaki utility jacket

Do you prefer waterproof?

Quilted bomber jacket.

I find a leather jacket good for city breaks can be dressed up or down and made cosier by the addition of a big scarf.
