Losing weight off boobs😭

As I hit 40 my excess weight has piled on my boobs & back making me look very top heavy & matronly. Any tips on how to lose weight off the boobs & back?

All you can do is lose weight. You can't control where it comes off.

You can build your pectoral muscles through e.g. push-ups and chest presses and that can improve the shape and support of your boobs a bit. But boobs are basically just sacks of fat, so to shrink them, you eat less.

@DreadPirateRobots thank you. I'll just have to as it's affecting my back. No matter what I wear I look matronly. Big boobs just don't suit me.

I had to get a breast reduction, after menopause they got even bigger and more saggy. Best thing I ever did, I lost weight every where else but nothing from boobs.

How did you find a reputable surgeon, if you don’t mind me asking?

Try to lose weight if that is possible/healthy and see how it goes.

I'm peri menopausal which is why I think they have expanded so much so quickly. That & less excercise & weight gain 😭 going to start the damage limitation tomorrow

I was the same. I have lost a bit of weight and I am so pleased it has helped reduce my boobs back to a size where I can fit in to my old clothes. Weight loss is the only way I think. Also getting a well fitting bra has helped too with the shape.

No reputable surgeon will touch you until you've lost weight. Surgery is a last resort if after you've lost weight the boobs still haven't changed, not a shortcut, I'm afraid.

Hi I live in Spain so I had mine done here but it was a neighbor who recomended the surgeon to me as she used the same one and she had such great results.

Don't worry about them , unless you're early peri , they'll deflated after the menopause. I've gone from a 38gg to a 36g without trying
