I've always been an 8-10, but after 3 kids I'm definitely a 12 now and so I need some new jeans that actually fit. Preferably don't want to pay more than about £60 or so, but I want ones that are flattering on a flabby stomach and comfortable, but look good. Decent pockets.

I can't keep up with the latest trends, so I guess I want straight leg maybe? Or is there a better cut about? Definitely don't want jeggings.

I don't have time to go to proper shops and spend ages trying on, so would be really grateful for recommendations for anywhere online that I can order from.

Oh also I hate the ones that finish above the ankle so full length ones please!

M&S are really good for affordable jeans. I'd be tempted to go along and try lots on as it's a pain ordering several sizes.

Greentrilby · 25/02/2024 21:06

I think Matalan are good for jeans. Lots of styles to choose from and as cheap as chips.

Tiggytico · 25/02/2024 21:09

M&S sienna straight jeans.

MrsWobble3 · 25/02/2024 21:10

Have you tried Next?

Riverlee · 25/02/2024 21:10

Go to M and S. They have a good range.

bravotango · 25/02/2024 21:22

My m&s ones have gone baggy after a few washes sadly. I got a great pair of jeans from Asda!

FishPie2 · 25/02/2024 23:13

Bonmarche also have decent jeans in different styles and leg lengths.

EasyPeelersAreNotTheOnlyFruit · 26/02/2024 08:26

Thanks, I've ordered m and s as they got the most votes so fingers crossed they don't go baggy.

I don't need super cheap, m and s are less than half my budget, is there any value to spending more so they last longer? What pricier brands are good?

Levi’s outlet if you have one near you would be worth a look. The good thing about Levi’s is that they go by waist size so if you are in between sizes. Primark has a huge denim selection so it might be worth a look at those. John Lewis’. Any Day range of jeans is also worth a look and really well priced.

EasyPeelersAreNotTheOnlyFruit · 29/02/2024 09:51

The m&s have arrived and I really like them (Sienna). They fit really well at the moment, should I size down though to avoid getting baggy after washing?

Massimo Duti or Muji are good options.

MotherOfCatBoy · 29/02/2024 17:08

John Lewis own brand ones are good and have more sustainable denim (less water used etc). Or you could also go second hand for classic Levi’s, can’t go wrong..

I live in my Fat Face jeans.

I have several pairs of Noisy May high-rise jeans, and they're well within your budget OP. They're comfortable and flattering.

Shinyandnew1 · 29/02/2024 21:27

After years of Next, M+S or New Look jeans, I bit the bullet and went for Levi’s. They are worth every penny.

ColourByNumbers88 · 29/02/2024 21:40

I've recently discovered Lee Carol jeans, slight stretch, straight leg, flattering fit and different leg lengths. Size 12 would be a 30 or 31 inch waist I think. Decent bargains online.
