What type of highlights would be best to brighten ginger hair?

My ginger hair has gone more brown and wanted to make it look more ginger, should I ask for highlights or balayage? What type of highlights if so

I had the same happen, not sure if it’s aging or having had DD. I took a photo of my hair when I was younger, showed my hairdresser and said please make it more like this.
I have a mixture of fine highlights in warm blonde and red colours.

I tried to have highlights put in my ginger (strawberry blonde) hair. They wouldn’t take, took forever, the hairdresser said it’s quite common with gingery hair. Never bothered again, just wait to get blonde streaks in summer.

Did you get half head or full head of highlight? Xx

I have half head. I have a lot of fine hair and that seems to work best for me.

I swear by red henna highlights, I just storage my hair myself and brush it in with a mascara brush. love the stuff and it gives me a real boost
