How do I style this dress?

I have this dress which I love but I am not sure how to style it, particularly shoes. My legs are very white so considering tights, especially in this weather. Any suggestions appreciated.

I would consider styling it with knee high boots a bit like this:

Thanks, I don’t have any boots like that and I’m generally more casual in style.

Trainers, or ankle boots then, I'd add a necklace.
