Odd wedding guest dress help (plus size)

Hello all!

I'm attending a wedding in August and it has a frog theme - I'm wearing the shoes below but struggling to find a dress.

Was wondering if some lovely mumsnetters could help - I'm wearing the shoes below as a statement piece and to go with the frog theme.

I know this is a weird request

I'm also plus size so fat friendly brands please.

Looking over the other posts, buy a lovely plain dress that you feel comfortable in and then accessorise .. shoes (obvs), then any hat/fascinator/pretty necklace/earrings/shawl, etc, not all at the same time! It sounds a riot and I'm sure you'll look fab!!

I have this dress in navy and it’s lovely. Would work well with your fab shoes (sizes are US sizes so goes high enough on UK scale). With the Kermit shoes, a lovely frog (or even lily pad) brooch and a frog clutch. Maybe a custom Frog Prince book clutch.

With those shoes you don't need to overdo the frog theme any more. I'd look at Hearts and Roses, Pretty Kitty, Little Wings and Dolly and Dotty. I really think you need that lilly pad fascinator PP posted. It's beautiful!

I'd probably pair the shoes with a plain red / pink / green occasion dress so you can wear it again in the future. Just accessorise with a frog brooch / earrings / hair pin to echo the theme. Coast has a lot of wedding guest type dresses in plus sizes, do have a look. Love your shoes btw!

With those shoes I would chose a plainer green dress. Either all green or the floaty marbled/swirl one suggested by others. That way its still useful beyond the wedding
