In a few weeks I've got a business-related women's networking event to attend at one of the private dining rooms in a smart venue (think Harrods, Fortnum & Mason and Claridges).

I'm 5'3, a Size 10-12, with a 36DD bust and have an inverted triangle shape. I've no idea what to wear.

Any ideas?

Ideally something tailor made - a trouser suit or dress - but a few weeks isn’t long enough. It’s enough time to buy something wonderful and have it altered to fit perfectly, though.

What’s your budget and style, @Mameem - and where do you usually shop?

I would go on Instagram to see what people wore at the last similar event ( same organisers and/or venue) and take inspiration from there.

Or, actually I'd dress like Kate middleton in a colour trouser suit

Unless, of course, you’re someone who doesn’t give a fig for what other people wore last year!

Or would rather eat your own leg than dress like the POW.
