I’ve found the foundation that actual strangers complement me on!

It’s actually 2 but they’re both cheap af so I’m counting it as one.

Primark! I mix together the Perfect Glow radiant primer, and the Double Coverage Matte foundation. 50/50ish

It turns into this high coverage yet dewy base that covers everything but doesn’t make me look washed out or like I’m wearing a mask.

I’m a long time Hydraluminous or NARS natural radiant longwear fan, but this combo is by far the very, very best.

I’ve never been complemented on my skin until I used this and suddenly I’m being told how fresh I look on the school run! Even my mother who can’t bear to give me a complement told me my skin looked lovely yesterday 😂

Im 35 no Botox or any skin care regime really, so have lots of fine lines and big smile lines and I haven’t noticed any settling at all.

OK so mine isn't a fully budget combo but I mix my moisturiser & Charlotte Tulbury Beautiful Skin, foundation with Maybelline Illuminating primer to give a similar affect to the op Primark mix.

I never see the perfect glow one! op, do you mind posting a pic so I can have a look next time I'm in there?

These are the two I use. I’ve found the Perfect Glow one doesn’t need to be a colour match as it’s v sheer and just adds the dewiness, as long as the double coverage matte one is a decent match they work well.

There's an American guy I follow on you tube. He is an ex Sephora employee amongst other places, Mac et al and is a make up artist. His name is Johnny Ross and he often does pod casts with his friend Kevin. They are a scream! Anyhow, he really, really rates Primark foundation. His skin gets very oily so I suppose he goes for a matte one.

The primark double coverage one is amazing. Like you, I do mix it with a another foundation (mainly because I bought it a tad too dark) but it's great as still gives amazing coverage without looking and feeling too heavy. I feel on its own it could become a bit too cakey as it is extremely thick, but it's such brilliant coverage. I too get complements abiit my skin since wearing it, and when people ask which foundation I use, look shocked when I say it's primark!

Primark do the best nail varnishes too,IMO. And they’re only a quid!

It's also really helped with minimising my breakouts. Don't know if it's the hyaluronic acid that's in it, but my skin hasn't looked this good in years, with and without makeup.

Also a long time hydraluminous user so will give this a go! I have the double coverage one but found it a bit too dry - I’ll look to pick up the other one to mix with it.

I can also recommend the Estée Lauder futura hydrist rescue - I reach for that more often than not not.
