My jowls have actually improved

RandomnMe · 20/02/2024 19:19

I've been struggling with jowls and they are hard to improve but they are a lot better (more visible in real life
than the pics below)

Thought that this might help someone ….

Photograph on top taken 8 December and second taken 17 Feb. Not sure that they do justice to how much my 52 year old jowls and lips have improved. Those close to me have noticed! Sorry for the dry lips.

Myolift mini (microcurrent) - 3 -4 times per week
Ziip halo - 2-3 times a week
(So a couple of days off a week)

I wasn’t really seeing a difference and about 5 weeks ago until I introduced:

Mojia Boost (mask hack 20 mins 5 times a week with Copper peptides)
Facial massage on YT (Aynsel?)
RF once a week for only a few mins (Beautiva Ace)

I do think it takes an arsenal not just one thing.

I did do red light but it made no difference and gave up a few weeks ago.

Very noticeable difference in the two photos.

Well done!

Is RF radio frequency?

Quitelikeit · 20/02/2024 19:22

Op

Why not get fillers? You’ll achieve amazing results in the space of two minutes and save yourself the hassle of your routine

HemlockSoup · 20/02/2024 19:36

er, maybe she doesn't want fillers? Fillers can make a face look blocky and heavy.

Quitelikeit · 20/02/2024 19:56

@HemlockSoup

when they are done right they look nothing like that!

in fact you would never know someone had fillers if done by someone who knows what they’re doing

in ops case they’d definitely make a healthy difference

hennybeans · 20/02/2024 19:58

Fillers can get rid of jowls??

Op, photos look great, noticeably different.

Hapagirl48 · 20/02/2024 20:03

Oh wow! I can see a difference. We’re a similar age. I did laugh when you said it takes an arsenal 😂. Doesn’t it just. Well done!

Fillers have a cumulative effect, and anyone who ends up being filled on an ongoing basis (even people who go to the best practitioners) end up looking 'done'. It seems the OP is doing just fine with her own regime.

RandomnMe · 20/02/2024 20:10

I am a bit reluctant …what type of fillers?

It’s refreshing to see someone post that they did something and it worked. It’s very noticeable OP, good work!

Thank you! Yes people come on with questions which is understandable but there isn’t much by way of results…. That’s why I set out what I’d done with a view to helping others…

Massive difference - really noticeable!!!

are they all products that you’ve bought and are using?

Yes they are all of them albeit I don’t think you really need two microcurrent devices. It takes time but it has boosted my confidence sooo much 😊 I was even flirting today which made me happy 😂😂😂

That's an amazing difference thanks for sharing all the stuff you are using.

Delatron · 20/02/2024 21:02

Thanks for the link in the other thread!

There is a noticeable difference. You look great! I need to start up my Nuface again. I do think microcurrent works but you have to be so consistent.

Whats the Zip halo? Is that for lips?

I have a new RF device that I’ve just started using. It really does take an arsenal.

Right now I don’t want fillers. I know they work for some people but personally I don’t want to add volume to a face that is sagging slightly. I want to tighten. And fillers often look bad, even celebrities with all the money in the world. Never say never but for now I’m swerving.

AcceptingTherapy · 20/02/2024 21:22

We are on the same page!

ziip halo is microcurrent and nano current and they have various programmes in their app which covers lips. My lips are definitely fuller.

be sooo careful with radio frequency. There are so many reports about fat loss. In theory you can use my beautiva ace device 5:times a week but I only use once a week.

I agree with microcurrent - it’s temporary but the effects build for sure. I don’t leave more than 2 days. I had a nuface but think the myolift mini is much better but you really have to combine with the massage. There is magic in the two together.

I’m nervous about fillers to be honest from a health perspective. I probably would not say never but not for now. I struggle to find heifer and after pics with filler as well. Are there any fillers you’d recommend?

Yes I have heard some reports about Radio frequency and fat loss. Will be careful.

I’ve also heard good things about the myolift - I can’t justify another device though sadly. I also have a Nira laser!

Your jawline looks a lot firmer too I’ve just noticed ! Will look in to the massage..

Delatron · 20/02/2024 21:32

My issue with fillers is this - as we age our fat pads sink down our face. So what we want to do is tighten rather than add more volume.

I also have an issue with the narrative they only last a year or so. They last a lot longer - years and years. So that’s how people look strange. They keep going back for more when they still have a shit ton of filler in their faces.

Fannyfiggs · 20/02/2024 21:36

Bloody hell, the difference is amazing. You have great shaped lips 👄

RandomnMe · 20/02/2024 21:43

@Delatron and I wonder about long term safety too…..
