I got new trainers for my birthday recently and I'm obsessed with keeping them clean. When I was a kid, new white trainers meant an absolute piss taking and I remember trying to 'dirty up' new trainers so that they didn't look new. Much to my mum's horror of course. My eyebrows will never recover from the 80s either ...

I thought it might be nice to have a lighthearted reminisce on here. 😊

And you'd never do up the laces, just tuck them in and cut the ends off.
Also I would buy jeans and cut the inside seam so they would be more flared/boot cut.
